Privacy statement
This website is operated by Noorderpoort Vastgoed. Noorderpoort Vastgoed is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website, within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This website sets no cookies and uses no trackers. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no embedded third party service that follows your visit. There is accordingly no consent for you to give or refuse: nothing is being placed.
We process only the data you enter into the contact form yourself: your name, your email address, and -- if you choose to provide them -- your telephone number, your company name and your message. On submission we additionally record a hashed representation of your IP address, together with the time of sending and the browser used. Your IP address itself is not stored: the hash is salted daily and cannot be reversed into an address.
The purpose of this processing is to answer your enquiry and to conduct the correspondence that follows from it. The hashed IP address serves solely to detect and limit abuse of the form. We do not use your data for automated decision making or profiling, and we will not send you a newsletter unless you separately ask for one.
The lawful basis for answering your enquiry is the performance of a contract or the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The lawful basis for abuse prevention is our legitimate interest in a working contact form (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We retain the data from the contact form for twenty-four months after the last contact about your enquiry, after which it is deleted. Data we are required to keep longer under a statutory retention obligation, for instance in our accounts, is kept no longer than that obligation requires.
Your data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. It is accessible to those staff of Noorderpoort Vastgoed handling your enquiry, and to the suppliers providing our hosting and email. Data processing agreements are in place with those suppliers. Your data is stored within the European Economic Area.
You have the right to access the data we process about you, to have it rectified, to have it erased, to restrict the processing and to receive your data in a portable form. You also have the right to object to the processing. You can make such a request through the contact form on this website; we respond within one month. If you are dissatisfied with how we handle it, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
